It's labor day weekend and I have had a great time. I love my new job at Farmville High school. The kids are going to be a challenge but that makes the job more interesting to say the least. They do not really seem to know the meaning og work. I guess my job is to get them on board. Our school has a huge new grant and improving test scores and growth will be impearative this year. I think I am up for the task. Motivation Motivation how to get the kids motivated. Nag Nag Nag usually works. I have a motherly way of getting the point accross.

Yesterday I went looking for Wineries in NC. I had a faboulus time. Dell and I put the top down on the stang listened to great music on the stereo ( thanks Mom) and drove in nearly prefectl weather to Pikeville NC. We found a small vineyard called A Secreat Garden. They were picking the grapes as we pulled up. It is actually harvest time. The lady that owns the vineyard usered us in to the tasting room and gave us cheese and crackers as we tasted all of her wines. I bought some Muscadime, peach and blueberry wine. We then headed south to Benson NC to the Enoch Winery. There a sweet man gave us a taste of 15 different wines. He had an apple wine that was delicious, didn"t care much for the stawberry wine though. Strawberries are best eaten whole with whip cream. We bought several bottles there too. Do not worry we did not get smashed the wineries were an hour a part and the samples small. We ended the day at my favorite Mexican Resturant Mi Cabanna in Greenville, NC
